Live Input Macros

Compatibility with Confluence 10.x

Removed unwanted padding from top of macros when used inside Tables.

In preparation for Confluence 10.0, some internal API usage needs to be removed, including any use of the Bandana Table.

Live Input Macros has had a complete review and removal of most of Atlassian's deprecated API’s.

Due to security updates in Confluence 9.x, Anonymous access via REST endpoints were disabled by default. This has been resolved.

Also now backwards compatible to 8.2.0

In some instances, users are getting License Error displayed. This most likely was incorrect and conflicting with the added XSRF check that was added previously.

This release contains the following changes

• Fix for the Live:Dropdown List, in some cases the selection was not being stored
• Removal of the Obsolete Live: Dropdown List (Multiple Selection) macro. This was made obsolete in version 4.7 and has now been removed.

This release contains the following fixes/improvements

• Removal of race condition rendering the Live:Table macro, it was possible for the Live:Table to be incorrectly rendered
• Improved communication security between the browser and server when live changes are saved.

In this release, the backend and front end have both been re-engineered to remove future threats.

The Live:Text Area and Live:Table HTML contents our now restricted to only allow text based HTML elements only.

The Live:Text Area macro was vulnerable to XSS attack using specific a previously untested attack method.

It is strongly recommended to upgrade Live Input Macros to remove this vulnerablitiy.
