In our previous release 11.13.9 we disabled the feature "Default Values For Create Issue Screen" due to performance issues between the native Jira context feature and our feature for the system field "description". Due to the high number of requests for reactivation, especially because it is only possible to define multiple contexts with our app, we have reactivated the feature. We have improved the following features:

  • The creation of default values in descriptions is no longer possible. Since the function is now natively available in Jira, there were complications between the native function and the Workflow Essentials feature. If there were predefined values for description fields, these are still displayed as read only in the configuration. However, they are no longer active, the values should now be inserted into the system field "Description" via the native context function. Please refer to the official Atlassian documentation.
  • There were problems with the "IN" operator when creating conditions. It was not possible to enter multiple values.This problem has been fixed. The values can now simply be separated by commas (,).
  • When selecting fields, a distinction is now made between system fields and custom fields. The respective ID is now given after the name of the field. This makes it easier to distinguish between different fields with the same name.
