We’ve resolved an issue where metadata migration failed when a workflow included parameter values that no longer existed, which affected the migration of Document Activity and Metadata. With this update, the migration process now handles missing parameter values correctly, allowing metadata and activity information to migrate as expected.

• We resolved an issue that prevented the app from installing correctly in Confluence 9.2.11. With this fix, the app now installs and works as expected.

Translating the rememberAssignee approval parameter

The workflow translator now translates the rememberAssignee approval parameter when migrating workflows to Comala Document Management Data Center to Cloud.

Translation support for “initial” and “pagecreated” trigger event

We’ve improved the workflow translator to support the cloud firstLoop implementation during Server/Data Center migrations. The migration is now fully supported, and pages created in Cloud correctly interact with the new trigger actions.

The translator now,

• Converts the “initial” trigger condition to “firstLoop” in cloud.
• Translates the “pagecreated” trigger event to the workflow’s initial state and applies firstLoop=true.

Add “visitedStates” list to current state migration

We’ve updated the migration process to include a new visitedStates list in the currentState data.
The migrated current state now includes a visitedStates field containing the names of all states the page has visited.

Migration Enhancements

Metadata is now automatically migrated through the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (CCMA)
The metadata included is:

• Metadata set with the “set-metadata” trigger action
• Metadata set with Comala Metadata app page macros
• Workflow Parameters at page level

The transfer order for DC migration has been updated to support the new metadata migration.

Page activity report fixes

• Previously, the Page Activity report for workflow-related events did not identify anonymous users. The issue has been fixed, and the names are now displayed as expected.
• In the Page Activity report, the Actor column displayed usernames instead of users’ full names. This issue is now resolved, and the column displays the full name as expected.

Migration to Confluence Cloud Bug Fixes

• We’ve now added support for the set-metadata trigger action in the Data Center translator.

The following migration issue was fixed in this release:

Migrated space workflow order: When migrating spaces with both global and space workflows, space scope workflows are now renamed with a “~” prefix in the cloud. This keeps them ordered after global workflows in the app space settings in cloud, preserving the workflow order from the hosted instance.

New Page parameter and metadata report

The report lists the Comala Document Management app and the Comala Metadata app metadata for each page and blog post in the spaces in the instance.

Migration support for multi-transfer of app related data

The cloud migration now splits the app-related data to be migrated in different transfers that are processed in parallel when possible

The cloud-compatible workflow includes label conditions and space workflow parameters.

The CCMA pre-migration checks include new assessments:

• the cloud-compatibility of the space workflows
• if there are page workflows (these are not migrated)

Document metadata migration

You can now include page and blog post metadata in a migration by running the new Attach Metadata utility in a space before migration.

The stored metadata can be retrieved using the cloud app get-metadata macro.

New pre-migration check to verify if the Attach Metadata utility has been run in each space.

Workflow Translator for Cloud improvements

The Workflow Translator for Cloud now supports translation to cloud-compatible code for the following:
