• We’ve fixed an issue that prevented the app from installing correctly in Confluence 9.2.11. With this update, the app will now install and work as expected.

• Anonymous users were being displayed incorrectly in the workflow document activity report
• Anonymous users were shown a login form when trying to access the document actions report. Since they don’t have permission, the report is now hidden from them

New document activity data upgrade rollback option

A global administrator can now roll back the upgraded document activity data in a space using the Revert Upgrade option in the app’s global Document Activity Upgrade screen. Only one space can be reverted at a time.

The Revert Upgrade action rolls back the workflow event and activity history in a selected space to the page activity.

• Fixed broken user links when the page activity macro was used in an email notification
• Workflow details were not shown in the Add workflow dialog box when choosing a workflow to add as a page workflow
• Event and activity times were incorrectly displayed in the document activity report. These were incorrectly shown as one hour behind the Confluence instance time
• When a user had multiple pending read assignments, they were only able to view the first page in the Read Assignments report in their profile

• The document activity and reports did not display the user-configured time zone settings. The dates are displayed correctly according to the user’s preferred time zone settings.
• Fixed an issue with displaying the accurate due date across document activity, report macros, document reports, and the state byline.
• Previously, clicking the workflow toolbar icon did not display any preview. This issue has been fixed, and the workflow preview modal now opens as expected.
• The due date in the state byline is now correctly displayed according to the user’s preferred time zone settings.
• Fixed a problem when invalid space keys are not throwing an error in Space Workflows under security settings in the Global Configuration.
• The Document States Macro report now displays dates accurately with the set time zone.
• Certain date formats used in Duration workflow parameters were causing the page parameter viewer and editor to fail to render correctly.

Enhancements

A new global administrator can hide the app action options in the page tools menu

The new ancestor filter in the document report macros lets you filter the report for all descendant pages (direct children, grandchildren) of a specified ancestor page.

• fixed an issue where the workflow state names did not appear in the Page Properties Report when the macro filters by workflow state
• fixed an issue where the Refresh Data action was displayed in the document report macros for users without administrator permissions, even though it was not permitted

A customizable report macro with workflow approval-related information filter options and enhanced performance when reporting multiple approvals on the page. The report displays workflow approval details, such as approval status, workflow state, current approvers, pending approvals, and the latest page update information.

Comala Document Control 2 is Data Center Only. In this release, Page Activity will be replaced with our all-new Document Activity capability.

You will need to upgrade your workflow data in existing spaces with an applied workflow to access Document Activity capabilities.

Document Activity provides:

• better performance and stability
• a new Document Activity Report with improved filtering and a more intuitive layout

New spaces will automatically use document activity when a workflow is applied to a document in the space.

On installing Comala Document Control 2 you can use the Document Activity Upgrade console to upgrade your data to use the Document Activity capability on a space-by-space basis. This includes checks to

• validate your existing Page Activity
• estimate the time needed to upgrade your Page Activity

The data upgrade process will require your data center site to be put into Read Only Mode.
